Threshold Charity Shop

The Threshold charity shop sells quality used clothes and goods at affordable prices. Our stock changes regularly, so by dropping in at least once a week you'll be sure to get the best of the bargains!

Our shop is run by dedicated volunteers, some of whom have been there since the first shop opened in 1995 - offering a smile and a chat to all who cross the threshold!

Please donate bric a brac, books, crockery, jewellery, ornaments, clocks, mirrors, unwanted presents, small pieces of furniture and clean second hand clothes to our store.

We regret that we are unable to accept large pieces of furniture or electrical items. We are also unable to arrange individual collections of items.

Opening Hours: Monday to Saturday 9.30am to 5pm

Milkmarket Lane,

Our shop always needs part-time helpers, so if you have time to spare - either morning or afternoon, get in touch! It's a great way to support a worthy cause and widen your circle of friends at the same time.

Volunteers are encouraged to learn all aspects of the shop's day-to-day running, including operating the till, pricing goods, helping customers with queries and decisions, and keeping the shop tidy and well-stocked. If you think you can spare four hours (or more!) a week to help with this type of work, please call into us during opening hours or give the shop a call.
