Lughnasa Evening Hike and Celebration

Join us for a celebration of Lughnasa - an old Irish harvest festival - on August 4th 2012 in the stunning setting of Glendalough. We will be setting out on an evening hike around Glendalough at 6pm, taking in the spectacular views and dazzling scenery of the area and watching the sun go down from a fantastic viewing point at a height in the Glendalough hills.
We will then return to the Glendalough Hotel under the light of the full moon, to continue the celebrations with a BBQ reception and live music.
The hike itself will be graded moderate and as such will be suitable for those new to hiking as well as more experienced trekkers. A registration fee of €25 will secure your place and we would ask all participants to raise a minimum of sponsorship amount of €125.
