Fundraising Administrator
(Community Employment Scheme)
Purpose of job:
To work as part of a vibrant team, in a busy office environment that develops and delivers a wide range of fundraising campaigns and initiatives that underpin and support the frontline services delivered all across the country by Threshold.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Donor Care
- Processing post and donations in response to Threshold1s Campaign Appeals
- Processing of donations including post and phone
- Generating and promptly processing Thank You letters/emails for donors
- Responding efficiently and effectively to enquiries (including phone, email, and post)
- General donor care administration as required
- Keep accurate records of work with donors
Donor Database and Reporting
- Inputting of donations on the donor database in accordance with team procedures
- Updating supporter records on the donor database
- To contribute to Thresholds fundraising and marketing function; particularly our commitment to donor care and donor relations
- To participate in staff meetings
- To maintain and develop links with other relevant funders and supporters, to share in the necessary administrative and domestic tasks (including updating information, filing, compiling statistics)
Support to the Fundraising Team
- General support to the Fundraising Team as required and agreed with the Fundraising Manager
Skills Requirements
- A level of basic IT skills to include Word and operation of a busy email account is essential
- A commitment to customer service and willingness to help people experiencing housing problems
- Communication skills both written and verbal
- Team work
- Commitment to learning and developing
Induction and ongoing training will be provided both in-house and externally.
