Reception and Facilities Management (CE) Dublin

Purpose of job:

To provide first point of contact for our office in Dublin and support the delivery of services. 

 Duties include:

  • Greeting callers to the office in a friendly and professional manner
  • Ensuring all visitors are signed into Threshold premises
  • Answering the telephone / taking messages etc
  • Sending and receiving fax messages
  • Keeping the reception and public areas of office tidy at all times
  • Recording and distribution of incoming mail
  • Recording, franking and posting mail
  • Photocopying, filing and other ad hoc administrative duties
  • Typing reports and other documents
  • Providing administration support 
  • Database management
  • Mail-outs, postal and email
  • Participation in staff meetings
  • Responsible for rent book sales in advice office
  • Other duties as required


Person Specification:

  • Good computer skills, including Word, Excel and Email – on the job training will be provided
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Personable, friendly and reliable
  • Flexible and a good team player
  • Eligible for the Community Employment Scheme



Skills Requirements

A level of basic IT skills to include Word and operation of a busy email account. An outgoing and confident personality would be desirable as the successful applicant will be interacting with a high throughput of people on a daily basis. Must have excellent command of English. Some experience required but not essential
