Threshold resumes monthly Outreach Clinic in Ennis
28 April 2022
The national housing charity Threshold has announced that it will be resuming its monthly Outreach Clinic in Ennis, following a closure of the clinic for two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The first clinic will be held on Thursday, May 5th and will resume on the first Thursday of every month in Ennis Citizen’s Information Centre, Bank Place.
Threshold’s Outreach Clinics give tenants the opportunity to meet an expert Threshold housing advisor in-person and avail of advice on any private rental issues they may be experiencing, including notice of tenancy terminations, rent increases, arrears and concerns regarding accommodation standards.
Threshold’s Western Regional Services Manager, Karina Timothy spoke about the clinic reopening, stating that: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to resume our Outreach Clinic in Ennis, particularly after a great response to the reopening of an alternative Outreach Clinic in Castlebar last month. We urge anyone who has any questions or queries to get in touch and make an appointment to visit an Outreach Clinic, and we look forward to meeting those who have any concerns on housing and private rental issues.”
Appointments are required for the Ennis Outreach Clinic and can be booked by calling Ennis Citizen’s Information Centre on 0818 07 5260, or by calling Threshold’s Freephone on 1800 454 454. The Ennis Outreach Clinic will operate from 9:30am to 5pm.
Threshold’s helpline is open Monday to Friday, 9am- 9pm at 1800 454 454, with webchat at www.threshold.ie/advice/help for any renter in need of advice or support.
